The Xebec Tri-Screen 3 Mac Adapter is required for all Mac users. It connects directly to the frame of the Tri-Screen 3 and screws in so it seamlessly becomes part of the unit overall, no need to remove and attach each time. The single cable solution still applies, even utilizing the same embedded cable management system to keep it all in place.
Installation of the free DisplayLink® driver is required.
It's NOT a dongle... it's a custom molded one time connection, so you can truly set it and forget it.

- Mac Compatability: Any MacBook Air or MacBook Pro with a USB-C port. Including Macs with M1, M2, M3, or M4 chips plus M-Series Pro and Ultra chips, as well as older model Macs with Intel chips.

- Can the adapter be used with non-Apple laptops? Yes! While the adapter is not needed for any PC, Chromebook, or Linux laptop that has a USB-C display port, it can be used with any non-Mac laptop that has a USB-C size port. For example an older model HP laptop that has a USB-C port that doesn't transmit video. The adapter can also be used on a laptop's USB-A port when used in conjuction with a USB-C to USB-A adapter (sold separately). However using the adapter with non-Mac laptops will likely require pass-through charging to be plugged in to have enough power for both screens.
